Birds of Paradise

In 2021-2022, The City of Valparaiso created a public art scavenger hunt called “Birds of Paradise”. The project includes a downtown scavenger hunt where participants can find recycled metal sculptures of ten local bird species through clues provided in a free companion coloring book. I created an identity for the project that was colorful and suitably bird-like without depecting a specific species. The coloring book includes realistic drawings for all ages to color and interesting facts about each bird as well as a QR code to find more information through Indiana Audubon.
